Wos-Wit — Pennsylvania Dutch Foods

Our Heritage

The Pennsylvania Dutch were primarily farmers of German descent who settledin the southeastern area of Pennsylvania in the 18th century. The area offeredplenty of fertile land and each growing season yielded a bounty of crops. In orderto survive the region’s harsh and dormant winters, they utilized canning, preserving, and drying techniques learned in their homeland to stretch their harvest and foodsupply throughout the cold months until the following spring.Wos-Wit proudly honors its Pennsylvania Dutch heritage and ancestors by using thesetraditional techniques and recipes to create all our authentic Pennsylvania Dutch Foods. All natural ingredients and no preservatives – macht gude!
